According to the Brazilian Congress, a “family” is just the union between a man and a woman. So, any other family couldn't be contemplated, such as a homosexual family or an adopted family. We couldn’t change the law, but we succeeded in changing something much more powerful: the word "family" in the country's most important dictionary.
